Job Title: Retail Manager
Location: Various UK Locations
Salary: £29,000 to £35,000 per annum
Role: Permanent – Full-Time

Essential:
Candidates must have at least 2 years’ experience in store retail, food retail, or restaurant management.

Language Skills:
Cantonese or Mandarin speaking is preferred but not essential.

About the Role:

As a Deputy Store Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring top-tier customer service, driving your team to exceed expectations, and supporting business growth. You’ll mentor and inspire your team, maintaining high standards and contributing to the store’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team to achieve exceptional performance.
  • Ensure all team members are trained, knowledgeable, and consistently deliver excellent customer service.
  • Manage staffing, stock levels, and customer satisfaction to drive sales and service.
  • Assist the Store Manager with performance management, goal-setting, and meeting targets.
  • Recruit and train new team members to the highest standard.
  • Maintain store presentation, ensuring it is always “best in class.”
  • Be hands-on in daily operations, stepping in to support your team when necessary.

You:

  • Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin (preferred, but not required).
  • A natural leader, able to inspire, coach, and motivate your team.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced retail or food environment.
  • Results-driven with a passion for customer service and team success.
  • Positive and proactive, with a focus on achieving both team and personal goals.
  • Clear communicator who connects well with both team members and customers.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a retail management role or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for people development, customer service, and driving business performance.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, multitask, and consistently deliver exceptional results.

  • Experience with stock management, including ordering and replenishment.
